Kodak Black is Arrested on Serious Crimes


Rapper Kodak Black was arrested Friday after a traffic stop in Florida. Bill Kahan Kapri, also known as the South Florida native, flagged his purple Dodge Durango by the Florida Highway Patrol in order to tint the windows. “that appeared darker than the legal limit,”According to a release from CNN.

FHP troopers claim they smelled raw cannabis coming from the car as they explained the reason behind the traffic stop. However, authorities would find that the vehicle’s registration was expired. After further inspection, they found 31 white pills of oxycodone, an addictive drug, in a small bag. Also, $75,000 worth of cash. 

Kapri was arrested for possessing a controlled drug without a prescription, and trafficking in Oxycodone. He was taken to Broward County Jail on July 15. He was also arrested for trespassing on New Year’s Day at Pompano Beach.

After being released from prison, Kapri posted his story to Instagram. HipHopDX reported. “You know what, stay out the hood,”In an Instagram video, he stated these words. “Everything that I was trying to do, I always keep the hood in my mix. I always steady slide back to the hood. I don’t need to be going through there. I don’t need to be through there.”

“Roll in Peace”The sentence of the rapper was commuted by Trump in his final day as president, January 2021. The Associated Press reported he spent about half of a three-year prison sentence for falsifying documents to purchase guns at a Miami gun store. In South Carolina, Kapri was still charged with criminal sexual assault. The Kapri sentenced by court to 18-month probation after he pleaded guilty in April 2021 to a lesser charge.

Afterward, he failed a drug test and was ordered to spend 90 days in a rehab center. His lawyer, Bradford Cohen, told TMZ that the judge was satisfied with Kapri’s progress after the rehab stint. Cohen stated that Cohen was at the time satisfied with Kapri’s progress after the rehab stint. TMZ Kapri is “looking forward to making good music, and is going to try to stay away from people, places, and things that would put him in harm’s way, or trigger him to use again.”

He was arrested on the same day as his appearance at Rolling Loud in Miami, which is a highly anticipated music festival returning to Miami on July 22. Kapri’s fifth Top-five Charting Album. “Back for Everything,”  No. 2 on Billboard 200 chart this year.
