Kylian Mbappe’s thoughts about Liverpool transfer have ‘radically changed’ in 24 hours


Kylian Mbappe’s intention to join Real Madrid when his contract ends has reportedly ‘radically’ changed with it thought that the Paris Saint-Germain star is now open to joining Liverpool.

The 23-year-old forward has been heavily linked with a move to Los Blancos and has he has even reportedly turned down contract offers at PSG, with his current deal set to expire in June 2022.

The Frenchman was also subject to a massive £171.7million bid by the Spanish giants last summer – but PSG turned the offer down.

But Spanish publication SPORT have now suggested that Mbappe is hoping to make a move to the Premier League – with Jurgen Klopp ’s side considered top of the pile.

They report that Mbappe was left feeling underwhelmed by the quality of Carlo Ancelotti’s team, something which will no doubt frustrate Real president Florentino Perez, who is hoping to bring the player to the Bernabeu.

Mbappe was the star of the show as PSG ran out 1-0 winners against Real Madrid the first-leg of the Champions League round last-16 encounter.

The French ace scored the winner late on, dribbling past two opponents and slotting the ball past Thibaut Courtois four minutes into injury time.

Mbappe has been linked to Real Madrid and Liverpool for some time

Speaking after the game, Mbappe spoke about his future, saying that he is yet to decide what he wants to do.

“I’ve not decided my future. I play for Paris Saint-Germain, one of the best clubs in the world,” he said.

“This game to influence my future? No – I’ve not decided. I give my best and then we will see what happens next season.

“I said I would give it my all. I had to show it with actions. I did it the first time, we’ll have to show it a second time at the Bernabeu.

“How do we approach the return? We have to win. First of all for us to be competitors. Going there to say that we have a result is not worthy of a club like PSG.”
