Lacey Chabert Responds to Candace Cameron Bure’s Hallmark Comments


Lacey Chabert will continue to support the Hallmark Channel, despite Candace Cameron Bure’s departure from the network in favor of Great American Family. I don’t think there are any plans for that to change anytime soon.”

Bure caused major backlash after she claimed that GAF would be able to help her. “keep traditional marriage at the core”Its stories include the first Christmas film that Hallmark made with a married couple as its star. Chabert did not comment on Bure specifically, but said that he had thoughts about the Hallmark stars who left Hallmark to join Great American Family. “You know what, I wish everybody the best. I really can’t comment on it further other than I care about everybody involved.”She also declined to comment on whether GAF tried to lure them to their channel from Hallmark. “I’m with Hallmark, and I work for them. I’m so sorry, but I’ll just have to leave it at that.”

Bure responded to the backlash by releasing a lengthy clarification statement, stating that she has “great love and affection for all people.”The Full House alum continued, “It absolutely breaks my heart that anyone would ever think I intentionally would want to offend and hurt anyone.”

Because of that, I am called to love all people, and I do,”She went on. “If you know me, you know that I am a person who loves fiercely and indiscriminately. My heart yearns to build bridges and bring people one step closer to God, to love others well, and to simply be a reflection of God’s huge love for all of us.”
