Laura Whitmore, Love Island’s new singles coordinator, dropped two bombshells about the new crop when they arrived at the villa seeking romance.
The show’s new series is in production. There are some surprises for wannabes.
First of all, the five girls who were single expected to choose which fella they loved most and would be happy to couple up.
They arrived in colorful bikinis and Laura, the presenter, revealed that this was not the case unlike previous years.
Star – dressed in stunning scarlet shorts with a top and blouse combo – said to the stunned girls at the villa in Mallorca: “You thought that you’d all be stepping up for the boys you love the most.”
“However, for the first time ever, we asked the public to play cupid and pick the boy they thought you should couple up with.”
It means that Paige Thorne, a paramedic, and Indiya, a hotel waitress, are both 24 years old. Tasha Ghouri is 23 years old. Gemma Owen, 19, and Amber Beckford (24-years), are not allowed to choose who they partner up with.
Shocked Tasha stated: “I hope the public have it right. I trust the public.”
Laura brought the lads in – fishmonger Luca Bish 23, pharmaceutical salesman Ikenna Elonna, 23, and student Liam LLewellyn 22; microbiologist Dami hope, 26, and Andrew Le Page (27), and paired them up with the girls.
The TV host introduced yet another shock, however. “bombshell”Davide Sanclimenti, a businessman and self-titled Itallian stallion Davide Sanclimenti.
Davide is poised to make a big splash after boasting: “I am good looking and English girls love me.”
The 27-year old will set off sparks as he gets the chance to steal a girl from his television partner.
Love Island will launch on Monday, ITV2 at 9:00pm
