Leaked Uvalde Video shows What Cops Did While Waiting over an Hour to Confront Gunman

-

The Texas newspaper that published the video of Uvalde school shootings is under intense fire.

The footage shows the shooter entering and waiting for police to take him down. Tony Plohetski (an investigative reporter for KVUE TV and Austin American Statesman) obtained the footage.

“This is not a decision that we have taken lightly. We have carefully considered what we are doing here. We know that there will be people out there who maybe do not agree with our decision to air these clips,”Plohetski spoke.

Several victims’ family members are angry that they didn’t get to view the video first. The mayor of Uvalde called out the news media organizations during a council meeting. “chicken”Thank you for sharing the video.

Others argue that the criticism is not directed at the officers involved and should be directed towards them.

The terrifying video begins at 11.28 a.m. when the killer crashes his car in front of the school. He fired three minutes later at the building. One teacher shouted at his students to get out of danger and called 911.

At 11:33 a.m. the killer entered the school and took a right. He then walked down the corridor flickering his hair.

The gunman was noticed by a youngster who was going to the bathroom. The rampage started and the boy ran for cover.

Multiple bursts de gunfire were heard, but the children’s screams were not heard.

The first police officers arrived three minutes later. They attempted to confront the killer, but were repulsed by police and grazed in bullets.

Over the next twenty minutes, more heavily armed officers from law enforcement arrived and crowded into a hallway. They were all wearing helmets and carried shields. But they remained composed.

Sometimes, moments can cause pure disbelief. Two cops feist-bumped one another. Another officer walked over and washed his hands at a mounted dispenser.

At 12:50 p.m., they finally made their move. It was over an hour and 17 minutes later than the nightmare had begun.

Now, the police must explain why it took so long.

On Sunday, the committee investigating the shooting will meet with the victims’ families to discuss its preliminary report.
