Klopp hails Minamino’s “complete performance” after the final snub

Jude Bellingham, who was linked to moves to Liverpool and Manchester United for a long time, has apparently decided to stay with Borussia Dortmund for another season.

Although the Reds have been a sensational team in recruitment, one signing has not impressed Roy Keane. The former captain of the United is questioning the decision for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to be bought.

The Reds are still enjoying another spectacular season under Jurgen Klopp. With the Carabao Cup now safely in the trophy cupboard, Liverpool are looking for more silverware.

They still have the Premier League title in their hands. Klopp’s team can narrow the gap to Manchester City leaders by beating West Ham on Saturday. Pep Guardiola’s side will not play until Sunday.

The Reds will still face the Hammers, but with three injuries doubts.

Here are some examples Mirror Football’s Liverpool news headlines.

Bellingham to Stay at Dortmund

According to reports, Jude Bellingham decided to stay with Borussia Dortmund at the least one season.

The 18-year-old joined BVB from boyhood club Birmingham City in July 2020 for an initial fee of £25million and has gone on to establish himself as a key player for the German giants.

Bellingham’s performance in European and Bundesliga competitions, as well as his status as an England international, have kept him high up on Liverpool and Manchester United’s transfer wish-lists.

Bild reports that Bellingham has decided to commit his future to Dortmund for 2022-23, his third season at Signal Iduna Park.

Round-up of injuries ahead of West Ham clash

Liverpool will seek their 12th consecutive victory across all competitions Saturday at Anfield when they play West Ham United in Premier League.

The Reds make a return to top flight action following two cup competition duties, with Sunday’s Carabao Cup final victory over Chelsea followed by a win over Norwich City in the FA Cup fifth round on Wednesday.

Klopp was able to make use of his vast resources to keep the team fresh with a squad almost at full strength.

But the German manager has three injury concerns to contend with ahead of Saturday’s visit of the Hammers, and he will be hoping that no one else will be added to that list between now and then.

Keane questions Oxlade-Chamberlain signing

Roy Keane claims Alex Oxlade Chamberlain’s career is in jeopardy since switching to Liverpool from Arsenal.

The Englishman joined Jurgen Klopp’s men in the summer of 2017 for a reported £35million fee.

Oxlade-Chamberlain shocked Arsenal by expressing his desire to leave his boyhood club as he rejected their £180,000-a-week contract offer with a year left on his deal.

The Gunners had no choice but to cash in on Oxlade Chamberlain so that he wouldn’t leave the team as a free agent next summer.
