Los Angeles’ Season 14 Premiere Reported Dire News about Hetty Lange


The premiere of season 14 NCIS: Los AngelesOn Sunday night, the episode brought some significant news about Hetty lange that should be a wake-up call for any fan. Hetty Lange was last seen in Season 12, which won Linda Hunt an Oscar. She was on top-secret mission to Syria, and there have been very few updates over the years. The new season doesn’t look promising, as she wasn’t in Seasons 12 and 13. Please Note: Spoilers Below NCIS: LA.

The Season 14 premiere saw a bomb explode, leaving behind the remains of one person. Many assumed it was Hetty. Hetty was known to have used the name Trudy Chambers as an ID. The team waited for DNA tests to determine if Hetty was the victim. Hetty was not killed in the blast. But, sadly, Hetty was. Hetty managed to get her fake ID. Adm. Hollace (Gerald McRaney), believes Hetty put the ID on her body to get her enemies off her path. Hetty’s location is unknown at this point.

NCIS: Los AngelesFans have been waiting to see if Hetty would make a full comeback to the show. However, there has been little news. Comment from NCIS: Los Angeles showrunner R. Scott Gemmill, who With Parade.com, Hetty’s “story continues.”He said that it wouldn’t be until after season 13. “She was in at the beginning of this season and then we had her disappear,”He stated. “The plan is to follow that up next [season] with some reveal.”

Speaking to the media ahead of Season 12 TVLineGemmill clarified Hetty’s role in the show while considering how cautious Hunt must be given the Covid-19 pandemic. “We’re doing everything we can to keep everyone safe, and Linda is a little extra special in terms of how we have to look out for her,”He stated. Hunt is 77 years of age. She was in a car crash that left her with severe health issues. This forced Hunt to withdraw from the 2018 show.

Gemmill explained the details later, after Season 12 was over. “Linda was away a lot more this season because of COVID and us trying to keep her safe…. And then finally, Linda had both her vaccines, she was feeling great, and she came back [for the finale]. And she was so happy to be back. She had been gone for so long and hadn’t really interacted with anyone, so she was just so thrilled to be back on set.” NCIS: Los Angeles airs Sundays at 10 pm ET, on CBS and Paramount+.
