Major outage at Natwest Online Banking – affecting millions of customers

Customers across the UK are being prevented from accessing vital banking services by Natwest, a UK bank.

Many customers have visited the site. DownDetectorOnline banking issues can be reported starting at 08:45 AM this morning.

Most of these reports mention issues with online banking and the mobile app.

Users have also reported that they are having trouble accessing RBS’s app. RBS is part a the same banking group like Natwest, so it could be a more serious technical issue.

Despite users reporting problems via DownDetector, Natwest claims that all its platforms work well.

Twitter’s technical support for banks has not made a public statement, but they have been responding to user complaints to offer assistance.

Natwest has been contacted to comment. The response will be posted on this page as soon it is received.
