Manchester United appears to be changing their January transfer window plans. Another departure is allowed.

Ralf Rangnick, interim boss, had reportedly planned to make four departures from Old Trafford while he works on trimming down his first-team team.

According to recent reports, a fifth player may be allowed to leave.

It comes after the club was linked with signing Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves – and United’s stance on signing the player has now become clear.

Pogba U turn

Paul Pogba is said to have told United chiefs he may be ready to stay at the club – if Ralf Rangnick is handed the manager’s job on a full-time basis.

Pogba’s contract expires after the season. With no new deals currently in place, it looked like he was set to leave Old Trafford for good.

Reports now indicate that Rangnick thinks the midfielder might decide to stay, after having had several talks with the German interim boss.

It’s after Rangnick made a very big promise to the Frenchman – who is now said to be ‘open to staying’.

Manchester United’s position on signing Wolves midfielder Ruben Neges has been made public.

Neves has performed admirably for his club this year, including a key performance in Wolves’ 1-0 win over United at Old Trafford.

His form has led to the player being linked with the likes of Arsenal and United, with a £40million pricetag said to have been placed on the player.

Ralf Rangnick may allow five players to leave Old Trafford as he trims his squad.

United had planned to let four players go this month, according to reports. The hierarchy at United believes that Old Trafford’s squad has grown in size over the years.

United may still have enough room to improve Rangnick’s side in the second half of this season, as they hope to transfer players.

The club is now looking at offers for three more stars after Anthony Martial has already secured his loan switch to Sevilla, and Amad on loan at Rangers.
