Rangnick faces a tough decision

Manchester United are still interested in Kieran Trippier. However, Ralf Rangnick, the new manager, must decide if he wants him.

According to Fichajes [via Burnley Express ]United entered the race for Rangnick’s 21-year-old signing, with reports suggesting that he might be well-suited to Rangnick’s high-pressing style.

Lamptey’s performance on the south-coast was impressive and he was linked with Arsenal last summer.

Target “Looking for new challenges”

Borussia Mönchengladbach defensive midfielder Denis Zakaria is said to be ‘looking for a new challenge’ ahead of his contract expiring next summer.

The midfielder, who has also been linked with Jose Mourinho’s Roma, could even be available for as little as £8.5m in January, according to German newspaper Bild.

The report states that Gladbach has ‘excluded’ a contract extension. Zakaria’s club might be open to discussing a deal, rather than losing the player for nothing at season’s end.
