Martyn Ford, Strongman Martyn Ford, has made a promise to end his rivalry “useless” rival Iranian Hulk.
In a London strongman boxing match on April 2, Sajad Gharibi, a bitter rival of the British star, will take on his British opponent.
Ford and Gharibi plan to fight for years. They exchange back-and-forth via social media and the pair are set to meet in a ring.

“This is not a sporting event, you can’t have an event with someone who looks like that. That’s not a sportsman at all. This fight is solely for me to close him and his 200,000 supporters. Once the fight is over, I can move on.”
Ford has planned to meet with Gharibi since 2018 when he signed for Polish MMA promotion KSW who explored the possibility of an event being staged in the cage.
However a meeting has now materialised in the boxing ring despite neither man holding experience in the boxing ring.

Ford has s poken about his desire for training in the MMA cage and has an extensive background in the sport despite never competing professionally.
The 39-year-old believes this could hand him a huge advantage over his bitter foe when they face-off at The O2 arena.
“Yeah definitely my heart is in MMA,”Ford responded when Ford was asked about his history in the sport.
“”With my size and abilities, this is what I excel at. This ability gives me the ability to sense the opponent and to understand their fight. It also allows me to know when I should attack, take a break, and when to relax. It also helps me decide when to push hard and when I need to give space.
