The Duchess of Sussex shares how she and her husband cope one month after the death of the royal matriarch at the age of 95. Prince Harry are mourning her death.
“There’s been such an outpouring of love and support,”Meghan, who was at Harry’s side during the Queen’s funeral, said VarietyIn her Oct. 19 cover article interview. “I’m really grateful that I was able to be with my husband to support him, especially during that time.”
“What’s so beautiful is to look at the legacy that his grandmother was able to leave on so many fronts,”She went on. She continued, “Certainly, she is the shining example of female leadership.” It was a privilege to be able to spend some time with her and to get to know her.
While Meghan shared that it’s “been a complicated time,”She noted Harry’s existence after the Queen died. “ever the optimist,”She said she is now back with her husband of 62 years. Prince PhilipShe died in April 2021.
