Attention animators aspiring: Meghan MarkleAre you looking to hire? The Duchess Of Sussex is looking for people to help her with a Netflix series. Here’s the situation.

What is it? ‘Pearl’

Pearl is an upcoming animated series from Markle and Prince Harry’s Archewll Productions. The SuitsStar is one six executive producers. Amanda Synda of The Loud HouseThe showrunner will be David Furnish. Among the producers is David Furnish, Elton John’s husband and producer of Gnomeo & Juliet.

In a Press releaseMarkle, last July, described the coming to age story. “I’m thrilled that Archewell Productions, partnered with the powerhouse platform of Netflix, and these incredible producers, will together bring you this new animated series, which celebrates extraordinary women throughout history.” The project is one of the first from Archewell production’s multi-year deal with Netflix.

Netflix is naturally looking for people to help it. It published earlier this week. List your jobLinkedIn is looking for a full-time production design. The posting states, “We are seeking a Production Designer for Pearl, a CG heartfelt adventure comedy series. Pearl comes from the mind of Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and centers on the adventures of a 12-year-old girl who finds inspiration in a variety of influential women throughout history.”

The applicant will be responsible for creating and supporting the artistic vision of executive producers. They will also work closely with Synda. Netflix needs someone with 3-5 years’ experience in CG, as well as an expert in drawing and lighting.

What’s On The Way?

Tabloids have spent a lot of time speculating about what Netflix and Archewll might bring. Silver Screen BeatsReports of a fly on a wall documentary series were denied by a spokesperson for the couple. “The Duke and Duchess are not taking part in any reality shows.”

A New IdeaNetflix claimed that no money would be forthcoming from the partnership and that the royals had been evicted by Netflix. The mere existence this job posting refutes the lame story.

Markle seems to be focusing on Pearl, Harry’s attention is on the Invictus Games. It’s a worldwide event where wounded veterans compete. Harry is working closely with Orlando von Einseidel, the director of the docuseries.

The GamesThe release date was originally set for 2020 but COVID-19 forced a delay to 2024. No release dates have been announced for any projects, but you’ll probably see Pearl first. The Sussexes will use their immense platform to highlight causes they care about: Invictus, feminism.
