After Meghan Markle’s latest appearance on US TV reports that Meghan’s father has asked for Meghan to be stripped off her royal title,
The Ellen interview came eight months after her and Harry’s TV chat with Oprah Winfrey, in which she said a royal made a racist remark about Archie’s skin tone.
This was her second interview after moving to the US with Prince Harry. However, it was less controversial as she spoke openly about her family and life outside of the UK.
The Duchess spoke on Ellen DeGeneres about many topics, including her last night with Prince Harry and how it impacted her life.
A skit was also performed at a market stand where she bought crystals and performed bizarre acts like closing her eyes, holding a crystal to the head and chanting.
Thomas Markle was a former Hollywood lighting director who wept at the sight of Meghan taking part in the skit.
Talk Silver Screen BeatMarkle claimed that his family was ’embarrassed by the TV appearance’.
He said: “She insulted the Queen, the Royal Family and the British people.
“She made a complete fool of herself and should lose her title.
“I love my daughter but her performance was ridiculous.”
Meghan, who was speaking in the studio in front of a packed crowd, talked about how she struggled as an actress in her 20s auditioning at Los Angeles studios. She stated that her car had broken doors, so she had to climb into and out of the boot.
However, her father was not mentioned. He said that he had supported her financially and professionally during her childhood and fledgling career.
Thomas claimed he even pulled strings to get her a Union card so that she could find work.
He said: “I’m disappointed she didn’t mention me. I hooked her up with a director on the General Hospital TV show and that got her a couple of lines on one of the shows which got her a union card.
“It’s really difficult to get a job without a card so that was crucial. I paid for the card too. I’ve been disappointed all this hasn’t been acknowledged.”
