Mohamed Salah giggling at Ballon d’Or question following Liverpool rout


Mohamed Salah was unable to contain his laughter when asked about his controversial Ballon d’Or place.

Salah has once again proven his status as one of the most coveted talents on the planet, scoring twice in Liverpool’s 4-1 win over Everton.

The Egyptian was ranked seventh in the rankings of the world’s best players at Monday’s Ballon d’Or Awards.

Many were shocked at Salah’s poor position in the league, just behind Cristiano Ronaldo (and N’Golo Kaante) after his remarkable start to this season.

Salah laughed and refused to comment when Salah was asked for his opinion.

When asked if he hoped to win the award next, he answered with a laugh at Amazon Prime “I have no comment. Hopefully [higher than this year], winner or not.”

Lionel Messi, who won his seventh Ballon d’Or award, said that he believed Salah would win a Golden Ball.

“I don’t know if the record is beatable,”After receiving the award, he stated that he was happy. “I just have to accept it but I’m not sure if it can be beaten.

On the win over Everton, Salah was overjoyed to have picked up a resounding win over Liverpool’s bitter rivals, adding to their thrashing of Manchester United earlier this season.
