After seeing a note attached at the water cooler at work, a disgruntled employee decided to take to Reddit to complain to their boss. The note stated that they would have to pay for it.

The boss, believed to be US-based, makes staff pay $5 (£3.80) a month as part of what they call a “water club,”According to reports, the sign is attached to the appliance. Silver Screen Beats.
The sign says: “Hello water drinker.
“Sandra or Michelle will sign you up to the WATER CLUB to receive this amazing POLAND SPRINGWATER.

“Members can currently get unlimited refills for $5 per mois”
Since being posted, the picture has received more than 72,000 upvotes and 4,500 comments from users who were stunned by the note.
One person wrote in response: “‘Ain’t free yo’ – the most professional words in the workplace.”
Another added: “For $60 (£45) a year that water would better cure cancer.”
An additional third: “I would just simply get water from it anyways, lol. What are they gonna do? Fire you for drinking water?”
Reddit users shared similar workplace stories.
One man said: “So at the school I used to work at we had a water club because the tap water sucked.
“We get a new superintendent who decides (in what was basically the one and only cool thing he did as superintendent) that he would just cover the cost of water.
“This led to the discovery that the school secretary had been lying about how much water cost, overcharging everyone, and pocketing the difference.
“THAT led to the discovery that she had been skimming money from about a dozen other sources around the school too – all to feed her massive gambling addiction!”
