After suffering what appeared like a terrible ankle injury, Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar was forced to be taken off the pitch.
The Brazilian was defeated by St Etienne in a five-minute match at the Geoffroy-Guichard Stadium.
The score was 2-1. Inadvertently, the 29-year old stepped on the leg Yvann Macon’s sliding Yvann Macon. He then twisted his ankle and fell to the ground in pain.
Neymar clenched his hands as he screamed to the ground. After being treated by physios, he was taken off on a stretcher.

The 29-year-old was replaced by Junior Dina Ebime before Marquinhos’ brace made it 3-1 to the visitors.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side had gone a goal down after Denis Bouanga’s 23rd minute opener but responded with a goal by captain Marquinhos.
Neymar also scored in first-half, but his attempt was overruled by VAR after he had been deemed offside.

It was Argentine midfielder Angel Di Maria who eventually put the Parisian giants in front in the 79th minute before Neymar’s injury woe struck.
PSG won the Ligue 1 title with a win that gave them a 14 point cushion. However, PSG will be worried about their star players being injured.
