Nicolas Cage, 27, has revealed the gender his first child with Riko Shibata (27).
The actor, 58 years old, is the father of two children from a previous relationship. He announced that he is “going to have a little girl”As he appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show Thursday.
Nicolas also revealed that they intend to name their daughter Lennon Augie in tribute to John Lennon, and August ‘Augie Coppola.
According to the Hollywood legend, he wanted his daughter Lennon to be called after he felt it. “frozen, paralyzed by the music”From The Beatles, the first time he heard Across The Universe on his radio station. “favourite song ever written”.
Kelly was informed by him: “Because of Across The Universe, her name is gonna be Lennon Augie, Augie after my father.
Of having a daughter, Nicolas added: “I’m thrilled. It will be the greatest adventure of my entire life.”.
It was confirmed Nicolas was set to become a dad for the third time in January.
A representative of the family confirmed the couple’s happy news to PEOPLE.
In a statement, they said: “Parents-to be are delighted!”
Nicolas and Rico met in Japan in 2020 when the Hollywood star was filming Sion Sono’s Prisoners Of Ghostland. Riko played one of the four Mannequin Women in the production.
The pair got engaged over FaceTime before tying the knot at the fancy Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas in February 2021.
During their ceremony, Riko sported a handmade black Bridal Kimono while Nicolas donned a black tuxedo with a yellow rose buttonhole which matched his wife’s bouquet.
It was his fifth time down the aisle, following failed marriages to Patricia Arquette, Lisa Marie Presley, Alice Kim and Erica Koike (2019).
He last marriage to Erica lasted only four days in 2019 before he filed for an annulment.
Nicolas and Riko made their red carpet debut at the premiere in Los Angeles in July at his latest film Pig.
In October the pair featured on their first magazine cover together as they posed for Flaunt magazine.
