Queens, New York: A well-known mom was found dead on the sidewalk with a hockey bag.

Police are trying to solve the murder investigation of Orsolya Gal, a loving mother who lived in Forest Hills with her husband and two teenage sons.  

Gaal’s husband, who works in finance, and their oldest son were out of state touring colleges when Gaal was slain. According to reports, she had been out with friends and returned home at 11 p.m. Her youngest son was upstairs asleep.  

Police said that Gaal was killed in her basement sometime during the night. She was stabbed in the neck, torso, and left arm about 60 times. Then, she was placed inside a hockey bag before being taken out of her home.  

Surveillance footage showed that the suspected killer was seen driving the bag down the sidewalk at 4:30 AM, leaving blood trails as they took the body to the house about half a miles away. After his dog had sniffed the remains, a neighbor discovered the bag at 8 a.m.  

According to one report, the killer used Gaal’s phone to send threatening text messages to her husband.  

“Your wife sent me to jail some years ago. I’m back. Your whole family is next,”According to reports, the messages were read.  

According to police, there was no evidence that there had been a break-in.
