Peacock Teaser: ‘MacGruber’ Premiere Date


The next MacGruberThe series finally has a Peacock premier date and a teaser trailer that will make fans laugh. The trailer features a hilarious, verbally explicit faux interview with Will Forte’s eccentric character MacGruber. He is a former soldier who ended up in prison following the events of the film’s title (2010). MacGruber. Based on a series MacGyver-Parody sketches starting from Saturday Night LiveForte starred as himself in the comedy “The Big Bang Theory”, during his time on the cast of the last-night show.

MacGruber is released and set out on a mission to defeat Brigadier Command Enos Queeth (played by Billy Zane) in this new series. MacGruber is joined by two of his former friends: Vicki Saint Elmo, played here by Kristen Wiig and Dixon Piper, played here by Ryan Phillippe. Laurence Fishburne (Sam Elliott), Joseph Lee Anderson (Sean Lee Anderson), and Timothy V. Murphy are all co-stars. Peacock will broadcast the series’ debut on Thursday, Dec. 16.

Jorma Tamco, the Lonely Island member that co-created MacGruberThe film was directed by him. He will now be the executive producer and director of the new series. A past Conversation with Vanity FairTaccone was candid about the topic. MacGruber movie, saying, “It’s not a perfect movie, but I do believe it is trying to do several things at once. And with a movie like that, maybe it’s a little more complicated for a broader audience to know what it is off the bat.”
