Pippa Middleton’s Sister, Kate, Inherits A Title Of Her Own

-

The title of the royal family is everything. The royal family is nothing without its titles. Queen ElizabethNearly every royal can expect to have their title changed at one point. This is the case for Pippa Middleton. The sister of Kate Middleton has made waves of her own, and someday she’ll inherit her own title. Here’s why.

Titles are the result of royalty

Pippa and Kate Middleton don’t have royal blood. The Middleton sisters were raised in a wealthy family that provided them with the best education possible. Pippa was a student at the University of Edinburgh where she was able to rub shoulders with the Dukes of Northumberland and Roxburghe.

The family’s fate changed irrevocably in 2010 when Kate married Prince William. Pippa was suddenly a popular tabloid character. Their wedding was a huge success and Pippa enjoyed high sales. She’s largely stayed out of trouble.

Pippa Middleton Marries Royalty

Pippa was engaged to James Matthews, a former race car driver. They got married the next year and now have three children. Pippa was married to a title she had created, just like her sister. Unlike Kate, it’s far more obscure.

Matthews is the son David Matthews. He’s an auto-magnate who, in 2008, purchased the North Affric Estate at Glen Affric in Scotland. It’s 15 miles west of Loch Ness. David receives the Scottish feudal title, Laird Glen Affric, by being the owner of the land. This ancient title is based on land ownership.

James will be the Laird of Glen Affric after David’s death. This means that Pippa will one day be Lady of Glen Affric. However, Pippa can continue to use the title Mrs. Matthew from Glen Affric. That’s a bit of a mouthful, especially when compared to Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. Kate will soon inherit the Queen and Princess Of Wales titles.

What’s Pippa Middleton Up To?

As Pippa waits to someday become the Lady of Glen Affric, she’s busy bringing immense joy into her world. Matthews and Pippa just welcomed their second child into the world. We don’t know her name. The baby will join older siblings Arthur, Grace and Grace.
