Postal Workers Get Ready for Christmas Shipping Deadline

Last-minute Christmas gifts can be wrapped and posted to friends and family. There are only 24 hours until the holiday.

Super Saturday is when the United States Postal Service cannot guarantee that a card or package mailed within the continental United States will reach its destination by Dec. 25.

Inside Edition’s Jim Moret had a chance to see the real Santa’s helpers: The U.S. Team. Los Angeles Postal Postal Facility.

Los Angeles’ facility is the largest in the country at 1.8 million square feet. The Los Angeles location is home to 3,000 employees who process over one million packages every day.

Inside Edition caught some New Yorkers working hard to post their gifts by the USPS on time.

Even if you don’t make it on time, there are still options. FedEx and UPS guarantee delivery of packages that are shipped by Tuesday. Amazon can deliver the perfect gift to any address if ordered before Thursday.

Labels can be printed at home by all carriers. No one will have to wait in long lines at the post office this year.

It’s a holiday wonder.
