It is time to say farewell to Queen Elizabeth II.
September 19, the royal family, including King Charles III, Camilla the Queen Consort, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince William, Kate Middleton and more gathered to honor Her Majesty’s life at a service held at Westminster Abbey in London.
Broadcast live around the globe (you can see it HERE), the special service was broadcast as part of the final event before the Queen is buried at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. Her father King George VI, and her mom. Queen ElizabethTogether with her husband,, they are already buried there Prince Philip, as well as the ashes of her sister Princess Margaret.
The funeral was attended by members of the royal household, but many others, including familiar faces, also attended. Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, who was previously married to Prince Andrew.
President Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden The United States represented the United States at Her Majesty’s funeral. Before attending the service the president offered his condolences and sympathies to King Charles III.
