The Masked SingerThe finale is just around the corner. However, one final contestant from Round Three had to be eliminated first. Space Bunny and Queen Cobra were eliminated on Wednesday’s episode. This means that Prince moves on to the Round 3. Although we have previously covered Space Bunny’s expulsion, it is now time to discover the person (or persons) behind Queen Cobra. After coming so close to defeating Prince and advancing to the finale, Queen Cobra — who was revealed to actually be a group as opposed to one vocalist — unmasked. They were actually an iconic R&B group: En Vogue, which consists of Terry Ellis, Cindy Herron and Rhona Bennett. There are many huge songs by the group, including “Free Your Mind,” “My Lovin’ (You’re Never Gonna Get It)” “Don’t Let Go (Love).”Their 1993 Salt-N-Peppa partnership is also well-known “Whatta Man.”They have been nominated seven times for Grammy Awards and won seven MTV Video Music Awards (out 18 total nominations) as well as three Soul Train Music Awards (10 total nominations).

When it was time to make final guesses, Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger chose correctly. Ken Jeong incorrectly selected Ariana Grande, Nicki Mnaj, and Jessie J as the trio behind the 2014 song. “Bang Bang.”Robin Thicke was closer, but still incorrect, picking SWV.

Queen Cobra’s death came only minutes after Space Bunny had been unmasked. Space Bunny was found to be Shaggy. Baby Mammoth was eliminated, which was Kristie Allen, last week. CheersThis star is known for her controversial tweets that have put her in severe legal trouble. Previously revealed mascots include Jack in the Box (Rudy Guiliani) Miss Teddy (Jennifer Holliday), Armadillo (Dog the Bounty Hunter), Hydra (Penn & Teller), Lemur (model Christie Brinkley), Thingamabob (NFL player Jordan Mailata), Cyclops (actor Jorge Garcia), Ram (sportscaster Joe Buck) and McTerrier (Ace of Cakes Duff Goldman).
