A shocked snacker ripped open the famous foil of a Tunnocks teacake only to find the chocolate on the base had hardened into the shape of Britain and Ireland.
A Reddit user posted a photo of the base of their tasty Scottish biscuit treat on the site, prompting excited reactions.
Despipte being a Scottish creation, the country seemed largely absent from the chocolatey map.
“Considering Tunnock’s are Scottish, why is Scotland mostly missing?” one user pointed out.
Other people rushed to point out the abnormally large outline of where Cornwall would sit down in England.
A user said: “Looks like Cornwall got a bit excited.”

Whilst another jokingly added: “Cornwall’s trying to break off and gain independence.”
Meanwhile, users also expressed their dismay on how anyone could rip open a Tunnock’s teacake and have the time to inspect the bottom of it without gobbling it whole.
One user said: “Who on earth carefully unwraps a Tunnocks Teacake and turns it over to look at the bottom? Surely everyone just rips the wrapper off and tries to put the whole thing in their mouth in one go? Or is that just me…..????”
Another agreed on the person’s self-control: “I was impressed at the self-control that must be needed to not just shovel it in!”

“Ireland is shaped like a chicken nugget,” another person posted in a different thread with a picture of a McDonald’s chicken nugget photoshopped where the island should be.
Someone responded: “Chicken nuggets come in many shapes, nice try Ireland.”
The commenter was right, McDonalds revealed in a January 2014 video that the nuggets have four shapes: The ball, the bell, the boot and the bow tie.
It is the boot shape that looks quite like the Emerald Isle, as pointed out by many social media users, including famous Irish band Kodaline.
“We gone and Found a chicken tender in the shape of Ireland.. Epic,” the band’s official Twitter account tweeted in 2013, hash tagging the word ‘homesick.’
