Release date for F1 22 with updated Physics and Tracks for EA’s Formula 1 game


EA Sports today announced the release date of F1 22. The game will also feature track updates and updated physics.

Codemasters has confirmed that EA’s F122 game will be released on April 22, while Codemasters confirms that it will have updated car physics as well as car models.

EA’s F1 22 video game will be available on Friday, July 1, 2022, for all platforms, including PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. This release will come two days before the F1 British Grand Prix. EA and Codemasters have also confirmed that Formula 1 will undergo the largest regulation change in more than a decade this season. The F1 22 game will include new hybrid cards and overhauled rules. There will also be new game modes and a reworked tire model.

F1 22 will feature the Miami Grand Prix. The game will also include major track updates including new layouts in Australia and Abu Dhabi that reflect real-life events. EA and Codemasters confirmed that F1 Life will feature a new mode, with F1 Sprint races included and new VR functionality via Oculus Rift/HTC Hive.

F1 22’s new feature allows players to enter the glamourous world of Formula 1 by creating F1 Life. This customisable hub lets them show off their supercars, clothes, and accessories. The F1 Life hub can be earned through gameplay, Podium Pass and the in-game store. Players can customize their race day with new Broadcast and Immersive options. This will affect pit stops, safety car periods, formation laps, and safety car periods. Players can choose Immersive to face risk-reward problems that could mean the difference between placing on the podium and finishing outside of the points. Broadcast relieves the pressure by providing authentic and controlled cinematics that keep players in the middle of the action. Players can now experience F1 from inside the cockpit with the Oculus VR and HTC Vive PC VR capabilities.

The new Adaptive AI allows casual and new fans to be competitive in each race. Competitors are designed to match their skill level. Accessible menus, handling and other features allow players to get right to the action without having to learn the intricacies of the sport. With new scoring systems and visualisations on the track, the refreshed Practice Programs provide more variety. This allows players to navigate every turn and turn with perfection before they race for the championship points.

F1 22 has enhancements to returning features such as My Team. This allows players to select their starting budget based upon three entry points: Challenger, Newcomer, and Front Runner. To reflect changes in the track, F1 22 provides real-time track updates to Australia and Abu Dhabi. F1 22 includes its highly acclaimed 10-year history, with a 2-player option and Multiplayer for epic races against other members of the global racing community.
