Ronnie O’Sullivan’s granddaughter bans him from her granddaughter

Ronnie O’Sullivan’s eldest daughter has said that she will not let him see his grandchild.

Taylor-Ann Magnus is 25 and has not seen the snooker champion from her teens. She claims that she will never allow him to see her child. “He’s not part of my life,”She told the Mirror exclusively. “I wouldn’t want someone like that around me and my child.”

Taylor-Ann’s mum Sally-Ann Magnus had seen the Essex-born pro for a couple of years in the 1990s – but they ended up splitting. Ronnie has only seen his daughter once since then.

Taylor-Ann, a Romford resident and employee of a car park company, continues: “I was 17 or 18 the last time I saw him and I forgave him within myself, although that doesn’t excuse what he did. For the last eight years I’ve been quite happy. I’ve accepted he won’t be there and I’m OK with that. But since I had my daughter, I’ve thought ‘I really don’t want that person in my life’.”

Taylor-Ann has Zarah, her three-year old daughter. She claims that Ronnie will never meet her.

Ronnie has two children, Lily and Ronnie J. He was seen hugging them after his win and Taylor-Ann stated: “It is what it is. I’m glad they have that relationship with him, even if I don’t have it.”

Taylor-Ann works at a car park company and lives in Romford in a rented apartment. She said that she doesn’t expect any money from the player. She said: “I don’t want, or need his money and wouldn’t expect anything anyway.”

She also added: “It’s difficult. When she goes to school, and as the years go on, people could find things on the internet and approach her about them. When she gets older I might tell her as a pre-warning. I will cross that bridge when I come to it.”
