Shania Twain Criss-crosses Harry Styles’ Coachella Set

Coachella opened Friday with Harry Styles as the headlining act. However, Styles wasn’t alone on the stage. Styles was astonished to bring out Shania Twain during his set. Styles and Twain blasted out classic songs, and the duo wasted no time.

Styles’ band began to play the first notes and the crowd was enthralled. Of “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!”Twain and the pair then took to the stage, singing the song together. They continued the party by performing Twain’s “You’re Still the One,”Naturally, the crowd sang along. This was an amazing way to kick off Coachella. Coachella’s second weekend will see him back next week.  

The Hollywood ReporterStyles addressed the crowd during his performance and told them that they only have to have fun. “My name is Harry, it’s a pleasure to be here in front of you tonight, thank you so much. This is already very, very special,”He said it towards the start of his set. “It’s big in here ain’t it? For the next 80 or something minutes, our job is to entertain you. I promise you we’ll do our absolute very best. You also have one job, which is to have as much fun as you possibly can. Be whoever it is you always wanted to be in this field tonight. We have the full moon, you have a ticket and I have the flavor.”

Coachella’s return was a long-awaited event. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, Coachella was cancelled in 2020 as well as 2021. The event returned in 2022, but it has been controversial. Kanye West was initially set to headline the festival. He pulled out of the festival just over a week before it was scheduled to start. Although there was no explanation, many people have wondered if it was related to Billie Eilish who was another festival headliner. Eilish and West had beef earlier in the year, after the “bury a friend”According to reports, the singer shaded Travis Scott in relation to the Astroworld tragedy. West will be replaced with the Weeknd or Swedish House Mafia.
