After Saturday’s emotional show, Giovanni Pernice, a Strictly Come dancing pro, shared his feelings after sharing them with Rose Ayling Ellis.
They danced to their Couples Choice on this week’s show to the hit song Symphony from Clean Bandit and Zara Hanson.
Giovanni said to the EastEnders actress that the couple dance ended when they hugged one another. “I love you.”
After Giovanni and Maura Higgins split, the public display of affection followed weeks.
After a four month relationship, the reality TV star split with pro dancer last month.

Giovanni, who has been appearing on BBC’s show since then, is now a favorite to win the Glitterball trophy this year with Rose (26).

Rose said this after the performance. “I feel very, very thankful for your determination to make this dance the most positive, happy dance it can be because you know that being deaf, there’s nothing wrong, it’s such a joy to be deaf and I think that says a lot about you as a person.”
Later, Giovanni commented: “It was just wonderful, the whole week. What the judges just said, it’s exactly how I feel every single day when I walk into the room.
“It is amazing to see the positivity she gives me each day.”
Turning to Rose, he then said: “I’m so grateful for you!”
