Tess Daly from Strictly Come Dancing has been accused of being “condescending”Rhys Stephenson was visibly emotional after he performed on Saturday’s live show.
CBBC host, who was crying after dancing to You Light Up My Life from Whitney Houston, was consoled by the popular host.
Rhys was overcome with emotion and explained that last week was difficult for him because he was participating in the dance-off. Tess consoled Rhys as he became more tearful. Fans weren’t impressed by her actions.
“Aw, come on darling. Aw Rhys, come over sweetheart,”She said it to him.

“Are you crying honey? Are you having a little cry? I know you were so nervous. Aw I know you were really nervous and you really wanted to do well.”
He replied: “I’m so sorry, it’s so embarrassing,”He washed away his tears.
Tess said then: “You don’t want to be in that dance off again do you? Not at all.”
Twitter users quickly took to Twitter to express their dismay at the way Tess spoke to the star.
