Terrell Owens reportedly comes out of retirement, leading to wild reactions from fans

According to ReutersThe Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver will continue to play in the Fan Controlled Football League, which is based out of Atlanta. Owens will likely be playing alongside Johnny Manziel (ex-Browns quarterback) in the Zappers’ game. 

Owens, 48, hasn’t played in an NFL match since 2010. Owens stated that he was still able to play in the NFL over the years because he is in good physical condition. “There’s no doubt, 100 percent, that I can play in the National Football League today,” Owens claimed that TMZ SportsLast year. “I’m not washed up. “You don’t have to forget how to ride a bicycle once you learn how to ride it.

Owens continued: “I’ve been on the track, and, honestly, I just ran probably like a week ago. “I was running at a rate of 4.4. Faster than I’ve ever been in probably a while. From 1996 to 2010, Owens was a member of five different NFL teams. Owens caught 1,078 passes over his career for 15,934 yards, and 153 touchdowns.
