Terry Bradshaw made an emotional revelation during Fox NFL Sunday this weekend. The NFL Hall of Famer stated that he had been treated for two forms of cancer during the past year. Bradshaw, now 74, made the announcement while explaining what happened to Bradshaw when he was short of breath during the Sept. 25 broadcast.
“Last week on this show, I ran out of breath, and Howie [Long] helped me up. And a lot of people are asking what’s wrong with me, what’s happened to me physically,” Bradshaw’s career began. “I just want to address it and let you know what has happened in my life.”

Four-time Super Bowl champion, he said he was diagnosed Bladder cancer in November 2021. Yale University Medical Center treated him. “As of today, I am bladder cancer free. That’s the good news,”Bradshaw spoke.
He had a heart attack in March and needed an MRI. “bad”Neck pain. His doctors found a tumor in his neck on the left side. “It’s a Merkel cell tumourThis is a rare form skin cancer. So, I had the surgery at M.D. Anderson in Houston,” Bradshaw explained. Bradshaw tried to calm fans’ fears by pointing out that he is himself today. “Folks, I may not look like my old self, but I feel like my old self. I’m cancer free, I’m feeling great,”Bradshaw spoke. “And over time, I’m going to be back to where I normally am.”
Bradshaw spent his entire professional career with the Steelers, from 1970 through 1983. With the Steelers, he won Super Bowls IXXIII, XIII, XIV, and XIV. He also won two Super Bowl MVP Awards and was named the NFL MVP in 1978. In 1989, he was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Bradshaw has been an active presence on television since his retirement from football in 1984. He joined Fox NFL Sunday and first worked at CBS. He has also appeared in TV shows and movies. When I retired I was making 300 grand a year and now these guys are making 40, 50 million dollars, or so. I need the job, he doesn’t need it. And he’s got business ventures I’m sure he’s looking into.”
