The Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions has gotten off to a fantastic and surprising start. We saw Super Champions Ryan Long (and Jonathan Fischer) leave their podiums in the first two broadcasts. It seems that the Tournament of Champions is a tournament for underdogs so far. If you looked closely at the promotional material, the results of the first two games were a surprise. Particularly surprising.
Long was present in Monday’s first quarterfinal. In a dark sweater vest, and white collar shirt, Long looked elegant. You might have noticed Long’s eye-catching purple button down in the promotional material. Your first instinct is likely to be that Long will move on to the next round of the tournament. After all, it’s not like contestants undergo wardrobe changes mid-game.
