Todd and Julie Chrisley still await the verdict in their fraud trial. While still under house arrest and apparently recording podcasts, the couple were found guilty. They await their sentencing in Oct.
Chrisley spoke about the verdict and the charges in one of his latest episodes. He also discussed how the episode has affected their marriage. The reality star said that he was tThe impending time behind bars is hinted atThe legal issues have rendered his marriage insurmountable.
“I said, ‘You can have glue that you’re stuck together because [of] children or you’re stuck together because it’s routine or whatever,”Chrisley stated this on his podcast. “I think that we are stuck together, I know from my perspective, that I’m stuck to her for life because I want to be not because it’s routine, not because it’s habit and not because we have children.”
The couple have been married since 1996, a little less than thirty years. They could also face the maximum punishment for their respective fraud, tax fraud, or other convictions. The Chrisleys have remained together for 30 years with the “ups and downs”Unless the “downs”Others can be the cause.
“I look back on our life because we’ve had a fairly good life. We’ve had a lot of heartache and struggle, but we’ve had a lot of blessings,”Chrisley stated. “You know, I try to look back on those … I look back at life now and I just think so many people come to us and want help and they want advice and to know how to get through this. I don’t know how we got through it, other than God.”
The Chrisleys were convicted. This was the end to a legal fiasco that had started in 2019. They went to court numerous times throughout and maintained their innocence throughout. Todd and Julie Chrisley have been placed under house arrest following their conviction. They are required to follow all rules and regulations until they are sentenced. Fans were able to send money to the couple, despite their spending restrictions. Chrisley stated on a previous podcast that money was not what he needed.
“I want you all to know that the messages that we’re receiving, the mail … the gifts that people are leaving at our doors, the flower arrangements … all of this stuff is just overwhelming and very much appreciated,”Chrisley stated. “[But] we don’t want you … wasting your money on things like that. We don’t need anything. So, really, the best gift you could give us is prayer.”
