In 2021, Disney+ was back LokiTake a look at our tiny screens. Tom HiddlestonLoki, the character of’s Loki, was revealed to be bisexual. The 41-year old has now spoken out about his on-screen moment.
“I hope Loki coming out as bisexual was meaningful to people who spotted it,”He said The Guardian. “It was a small step, and there’s further to go. But it was definitely important to all of us.”
In season one—while waiting out an apocalypse—regular Loki and his friend Sylvie (Sophia Di MartinoLoki and ) were having a conversation about their romantic lives. Loki also noted that he was very interested in both princesses And princes.
In 2021 director Kate Herron noted that that moment was extremely crucial for her.
“From the moment I joined Loki, it was very important to me, and my goal, to acknowledge Loki was bisexual,”She wrote it on Twitter. “It is a part of who he is and who I am too. I know this is a small step but I’m happy, and heart is so full, to say that this is now Canon in MCU.”
