Raducanu gives reasons for Tottenham kit
US Open champion Emma Raducanu has dampened hopes that she supports Tottenham – and explained the real reason for her wearing a Spurs kit during a recent training session.
While in Germany for the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, the British number one was seen wearing the kit that bore her surname. It turns out she’s not a fan of the club herself – but a number of her team are and have been “egging her on”.
Raducanu now admits that her work may have been successful. “feeling some sort of connection”.

Conte sent ‘incredible’ message
Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool manager, has heaped praises on Antonio Conte’s Spurs team following their rise to the Premier League’s top 4.
Tottenham is now fourth on the table and holds the final Champions League qualification slot. They are three points ahead Arsenal and Manchester United, but have a better goal difference. Klopp praised Conte for his work at the club, ahead of Tuesday’s match against United at Anfield.

Mourinho gets slammed
Sources within Tottenham have criticized Jose Mourinho’s tenure as Tottenham manager.
Mourinho arrived in London to much fanfare. This raised the expectation that Spurs would finally end their trophy drought that dates back to 2008 League Cup. However, he was dismissed just days before the EFL Cup final of 2021 after the club’s league form began to unravel.
Sources have confirmed to The Athletic that Mourinho is now in charge “sucked the culture out of the club and destroyed what Spurs have stood for for years”.
