Tristan Thompson’s legal battle for alleged third-child

Tristan Thompson stated to his fans that he was “always late”After his baby mama Maralee Nichols asked him to pay child support, he reportedly agreed.

The 31-year old NBA star has admitted that he had a son with the personal coach in January. However, a DNA test proved otherwise.

With the paternity confirmed, Maralee, 31, is said to be asking Tristan for £35k a month amid reports Khloe Kardashian’s ex had ‘refused’ to support the child financially.

The latest Instagram post by the basketball player doesn’t discredit these rumours.

He shared a picture of himself in patchwork jeans and Louis Vuitton sliders. “They say good things take time that’s why I’m always late,”With a devilish smile, shuffling face, and wink emoji

Tristan’s cryptic comment didn’t go down well. Many of his followers were critical of the athlete’s seemingly insincere comments.

One of them said: “Late with that child support,”Another added “Oh, that’s why the child support is late?!!”

Meanwhile, a third fumed”Always late to pay your baby mamas checks,”

Maralee requested a “guideline monthly child support of $47,424″According to Theo, her son US Weekly.

According to reports, she has also requested that the court order NBA star Kevin Durant to pay her legal fees. These have exceeded $1million.

Harvey Englander, the rep for Harvey Englander, was not impressed. Page Six : “Despite news reports stating otherwise, Tristan Thompson has done nothing to support his son.

“He has never made an attempt to meet their son or provided financial assistance.”

The Mirror has contacted reps for Tristan for comment.

Tristan is also dad to Khloe’s daughter True, as well as five-year-old son Prince with his ex Jordan Craig.

The athlete apologised to the Good American founder after previously denying he had anything to do with Maralee’s son.

Khloe recently opened up to Variety about the Kardashians’ upcoming Hulu show and revealed it will touch on Tristan’s infidelity.

She said: “This will be discussed on the show. Since our partners and significant others didn’t sign up, we do as a family try to protect their privacy.

“But if something is really public like this was, it would be strange if Tristan was a part of the show and then all of a sudden he disappears and we don’t ever talk about it.”

“So yes, we do address it. I always try to be as respectful as possible, but it is reality.”
