TV host files for divorce following 2 years of marriage

Charissa Thompson is ending her short marriage. The official papers filed by the sportscaster are to end her 2-year-old marriage. The Blast reports the following: Fox NFL KickoffShe wants to divorce Kyle Thousand, a sports agent. She lists “irreconcilable differences”This was the reason they split. They were engaged at the peak of the pandemic in December 2020. However, Thompson’s divorce documents show that they split just one year later in 2021. It is important to know the date of separation in order to divide assets and finances when it is appropriate.

Thompson is asking the court not to allow spousal support to be ordered for either of them. It is unknown if there is a prenuptial arrangement. Thompson wants both spouses to be responsible for paying their attorney’s fees. She doesn’t want either side to exchange money for anything related the divorce. Thompson wants a fresh start. 

The wedding of the former couple almost did not happen. They moved their wedding to Arizona because of California’s COVID-19 restrictions. Thompson was on AdditionalTo discuss the intimate details of their marriage, she said that she was sorry they couldn’t invite all their friends and family. However, they chose to wed anyway. 

“The day was perfect. Sadly we couldn’t invite all our friends and family due to covid, but we didn’t want to wait any longer to start our lives together. So a huge thank you to those that (were there) and made this day so special & (those that weren’t there) who still made us feel so loved,”She said it on social media at the time. “To my family, I missed my siblings so much but am so grateful my parents were there to see me start the next chapter of my life with a man I met sitting next to on a plane! Life is an adventure and you never know where it’ll take you but I’m so glad I get to do this ride with you.”
