Uber sent woman home after night out, ‘because her date didn’t like her dress’

A TikTok user describes what happened to her when her date didn’t like her outfit

The woman who was disappointed by her date’s decision to call an Uber and send her home on a night out, because he didn’t like her clothes, called Uber.

Nikki Harding spent 40 minute getting ready to go to a work dinner with a guy she had been seeing for several weeks.

The occasion required her to wear a long-sleeved croptop in black and pink trousers.

Nikki spoke about her TikTok experience and said: “I spent 40 minutes on my makeup to meet his friends and co-workers at a grand opening for the retail company he works for.”

But, the man was not impressed with her look and she sent her home in an Uber.

Nikki, initially upset, later explained: “He was too embarrassed to be seen with me in this outfit, so he sent me home in an Uber and went to the opening without me.

“I’m just so sad because I spent so much time trying to look pretty and he sent me home in an Uber.

“Who does that? He sent me home with a stranger on a Friday night.

“He wasn’t comfortable with me around his coworkers, but was comfortable sending me home with a stranger in an Uber.”

TikTok showed her that this was not her first inappropriate comment about her outfit. She stated that he had asked her previously not to wear make up or heels and she prefers to dress up when out.

Nikki was angry when he called an Uber to take her home. However, she later realized that it would be better to just move on with her relationship with him, as she didn’t feel valued by him.

She stated that she had lived with him for three weeks and wanted to get to understand him. But, when he left, she packed her stuff and moved on.

Nikki, who now lives in her van together with her cat, shared her feelings about the decision. “I’m glad I got out after only three weeks and not three years.”

TikTok users shared their opinion with Nikki, stating that the man’s behavior was inappropriate.

One person wrote: “Remember: This is him in the beginning. This is him on his best behaviour. Run.”

Nikki replied: “Yup! I ran.”

Another comment: “There’s going to be an apology and begging. Please don’t listen to him it’s only going to get worse. You’re beautiful and deserve so much more!”

Nikki said: “It already started tonight. I won’t give in.”

Another TikTok user was added “His behaviour is abusive.”

Another person told Nikki: “Don’t let anyone EVER treat you like this.”
