Venus Williams offers her top advice on expanding equal pay


In the quest for equal pay, Venus Williams isn’t playing games.

Venus is a professional tennis player who keeps her eyes on court while she competes. However, Venus knows that there is a bigger project beyond the court and deserves all of our attention. The 41-year old athlete is speaking out to make Equal Pay Day a reality.

“The #PrivilegeTax movement is what we’ve coined as this real data that shows that women only make 82 cents for every dollar that men make and it’s a serious problem,”E! only shared Venus News. “I’m very passionate about it because this happened to me.”
