Video shows Capitol Rioter taking photos on Congressman’s Tour Day before Assault. House Panel Says

The Jan. 6, committee met on Thursday, and focused on Donald Trump’s efforts to force Vice President Mike Pence not to reverse the results of 2020.

The video also shows a man who was captured on surveillance taking photos of Capitol Hill hallways, tunnels, and staircases just 24 hours prior to the attack on the Capitol.

The unidentified man is over 6 feet tall and was wearing a gray T-shirt, torn jeans and sneakers. He was among a group that included 15 tourists and children. They were being shown around the congressional offices building by Republican Congressman Barry Loudermilk from Georgia.

According to the Jan. 6 committee, the same man made threats during the attack at the Capitol the following day.

“There’s no escape, Pelosi, Schumer, Nadler. We’re coming for you. We’re coming in like white on rice. Even you, AOC. We’re coming to take you out,”The man said.

He calls someone in the crowd “our fearless leader” — a man displaying a flagpole with the top sharpened to form a weapon.

“It’s for a certain person,”The man holding the flagpole spoke.

Loudermilk said he didn’t know who the man was in the surveillance footage.
“It was a family and some guests [on the tour], some folks that they’d brought from Georgia,”Loudermilk stated.

Loudermilk replied that he believed the man’s words were appropriate when he was asked. “Absolutely not. I condemn that kind of language.”

Meanwhile, former White House lawyer Eric Herschmann told the committee his reaction when one of Trump’s legal advisers suggested Vice President Mike Pence could overturn the election.

“I said, ‘Are you out of your effin’ mind?’ That was pretty blunt,” Herschmann said.

The next hearing is set for June 21st.
