After already facing major backlash for animal cruelty, Kurt Zouma is now facing a rift with his West Ham team-mates who have recently discovered the defender’s wage.
Footage of Zouma kicking his cat across the kitchen floor surfaced on Monday after Silver Screen Beat released a video captured from the Frenchman’s brother on Snapchat.
Zouma has been fined two-weeks wages by the club for his actions, which will be donated to animal protection charities, and the club are under pressure to push for further punishment after his brother, Yoan, was suspended by Dagenham and Redbridge for his involvement.
However, following West Ham’s donation to the charity, Zouma’s wages have been revealed, leaving some stars unhappy.

It appears that West Ham’s summer signing is the highest paid player at the club, as his two-week wage fine saw a £250,000 donation made to the RSPCA.
Although the donation was a classy gesture from West Ham in light of an inexcusable act, it revealed Zouma’s £125,000-a-week wages, and according to the Daily Mail, his team-mates are unhappy that the Frenchman is earning considerably more than the other stars at the club.
Despite the outrage, West Ham have supported Zouma on a footballing basis, as David Moyes decided to start the defender against Watford regardless of the heavy backlash by stunned fans.

Moyes backed his decision after the game, hinting that it was his job to pick the best team that he possibly could, even though Zouma was booed throughout the match by his own supporters.
West Ham have also been hit by the dropped sponsorships of Vitality and Experience Kissimee, but they could now face a huge issue over contracts with their players who could demand a pay rise.
The likes of Declan Rice Tomas Soucek earn considerably less despite their heavy importance to the side, potentially causing an even bigger problem at West Ham.
