Zayn Malik’s ‘strange’ invitation to let fans watch him sleep in February
Zayn Malik has tidied up his appearance and shared his new look on social media.
He posted an Instagram selfie Tuesday night showing that he had trimmed his hair and removed his shaggy mustache.
In the photo, the 29-year-old father-of-1 can be seen pouting as he looks into the camera in a mint-green T-shirt.
The top’s low neckline and short sleeves show Zayn’s inkings on his neck, upper chest, and arms.
Many of his loyal followers said that they liked the new look and it reminded them of his boyband days.
One typed: “giving 2014 vibes” and others agreed, “same thought” and “true.”
In October, Zayn split from model Gigi Hadid – who he shares baby daughter Khai with.
After Zayn was accused by Yolanda Hadid, Gigi’s mother, of striking him, the couple split.
Yolanda Hadid (57) claimed that her daughter’s lover had struck her, something the musician strongly refutes.
After an argument, the ex-1D man denied that he had struck the mother of his girlfriend.
However, the pop star has “agreed to not contest” claims being made in US media that he had hit reality TV star Yolanda.
He issued a statement saying: “I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid and for the sake of my daughter I decline to give any further details and I hope that Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards healing these family issues in private.”
He wrote: “As you all know I am a private person and I very much want to create a safe and private space for my daughter to grow up in.
“A place where private family matters aren’t thrown on the world stage for all to poke and pick apart.”
He then added: “In an effort to protect that space for [my daughter] I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner’s who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago.
“This was and still should be a private matter but it seems for now there is divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been ‘leaked’ to the press.

“I am hopeful though for healing for all involved with the harsh words shared and more importantly I remain vigilant to protect Khai and give her the privacy she deserves.”
Court papers alleged Zayn “shoved [Yolanda] into a dresser causing mental anguish and physical pain” after reportedly calling her “a f****** Dutch slut.” He is said to have told her: “Stay away from [my] f***ing daughter.”
The papers added claims Zayn allegedly told Gigi to “strap on some f****ing balls and defend your partner against your f***ing mother.”
The pair reportedly rowed over a picture Yolanda had shared on Instagram, which unwittingly gave fans a glimpse of their child Khai’s face.
Gigi and Zayn have never shown their tot’s face on social media.
