Mila Kunis has another parenting faux-pas to share, following the notorious bath time debate. Ashton Kutcher couldn’t believe it. In this video, Kunis appeared on Ellen Degeneres’ online series Mom ConfessionsShe shared her controversial views about playground problems.

“There was a little kid in my kid’s preschool that wasn’t very kind and pushed my daughter. My daughter came back, and she was like, ‘Such and such little kiddo pushed me.’ And I instinctually said, ‘Did you push her back?'” Kunis recalls. “And my daughter’s like, ‘No!’ And I was like, ‘Push her back next time. You push her back, and you say, ‘No, thank you.’ You walk away.”

“I turn around, and I see Ashton’s face, and he was like, ‘Nooo!'” She continues. “But I was like, ‘You stand up for yourself, and you say, ‘No, thank you.” I said, “Don’t push him off a ladder, swing, or slide. But if he is on the ground and even Steven, push him back. That’s a parenting failure.”

Later in the episode, Kunis shared that she doesn’t lie to her kids –– not even the “Little white lies.” She shares there’s a particular reason as to why. “There are two. These little white lies are the ones you tell one but not the other. It’s the instinct to say, “Don’t tell my brother.” I’m going to go with you. They instinctually learn that lying is okay.” she says. “It’s been difficult for me to say no to that. We will all be open and honest. Sometimes being truthful can hurt people, but that’s okay.”

Kutcher and Kunis both have a busy schedule –– especially with Kutcher’s multiple business ventures. Kunis says the couple has had to develop a parenting schedule that allows them to be present for their kids and onset. “We tag team!” she said. “We never work together. We only shoot on-location during summer breaks. The rest of the year, we shoot at home.” As for new parents, Kunis has one rule of advice: “Kids can be little terrorists. Do not negotiate with them. It won’t work.”
