Kaley Cuoco’s Next TV Role Mixes True Crime With Toilets

Kaley CuocoFans of true crime will be excited about the next role.

Peacock’s dark comedy thriller will feature the actress. Based on a True StoryNBCU announced the launch of its streaming service on August 8.

According to Peacock, the series is inspired by a bizarre real-life event “about a realtor, a plumber and a former tennis star whose lives unexpectedly collide, exposing America’s obsession with true crime, murder and the slow close toilet seat.”

Kaley will play a married woman named Ava Bartlett. Other plot details are being kept secret at the moment.

Nominated for Emmy Award Craig Rosenberg (The Boys, LostAs executive producer and writer, he will be joined by ). Ozark‘s Jason Bateman and Michael CostiganAs executive producer, Roxie Rodriguez is also involved. Roxie Rodriguez is co-executive producer at Aggregate films. UCP, a division within Universal Studio Group, will produce the series.

Kaley recently received her second consecutive Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress for her performance in The Flight Attendant.
